  1. Hi Sonja, Lovely to wake up to this. It brought me right back to my early school days. The feast day of St Brigid was a very important day in Ireland (as holy days of obligation go).
    Every child in the country was taught how to make a St Brigid Cross. A practice that has very much died out. While the teachers admired the well constructed crosses for the children it came down to who could make one the quickest!😀
